The first collected Standard has been released in the SharePoint Standards section.

SharePoint Development Standards comes from a variety of sources and everyone asked so far seems to agree that these represent the most important ones for SharePoint 2007. I am working on the SharePoint 2010 adjustments. There will be a considerable amount more and some will obviously be adjusted  such as the one relating to SharePoint Designer and workflows.

This is part of a larger SharePoint Standards initiative announced here. I would greatly appreciate any comments, suggestions, or recommendations you can provide.

Expect more Standards soon! I will be contacting all the people who offered support and pumping them out over the next few months. 🙂
